PATS FALL 4-2 TO ICE
Regina, Sask. – The Pats were unable to complete the comeback on Wednesday night, dropping a 4-2 decision to the WHL-leading Winnipeg ICE in front of a crowd of 3,245 at the Brandt Centre.
The Pats’ season-high four game home winning-streak came to an end, falling to the ICE for a fourth consecutive time this season, as the Pats remain winless all-time against the ICE since the move to Winnipeg (0-11-1-1).
The ICE’s three goal first period led them to victory, snapping their two game losing-streak. Mikey Milne (2G), Conor Geekie (2A) and Zach Benson (2A) led the way for Winnipeg, as they improve to 26-5-2 on the season.
Logan Nijhoff played in game #200 for the Pats while scoring for a sixth straight game and posting a multi-point performance (1G-1A). Zack Smith returned from injury, scoring his second of the season in his first game since November 3. Corbin Vaughan tallied an assist for his first career WHL point.
