No surprise at the low attendance. Bloody cold out and team canada was on tv. Not the best game by the Pats.

At least they got a point in the shoot out loss.

@KellyFriesen: Source: Medicine Hat Tigers trade Connor Hobbs and draft picks to the Regina Pats for Dryden Hunt and Kyle Burroughs. #WHL @KellyFriesen: Regina Pats GM-head coach John Paddock is doing the rebuild the right way. Building a solid team designed for the 2016-17 season. There has been a great deal of speculation over the past few days about the destination of highly touted defenceman Connor Hobbs, who is at home in Saskatoon awaiting a trade from the Medicine Hat Tigers. He’s expected to be moved very soon and it sounds like Regina is the destination. Kelly Friesen of Yahoo!… Read more »

too bad for all the people who missed this game… it was their last chance to see Burroughs & Hunt as they have been traded to MH will be announced tomorrow morning.

Im sure Roddy will be late again posting his Monday Morning Goalie segment due to this trade.

I was happy with the Klimchuk trade but the return on these 2 players does not seem like enough at all but I guess time will tell what happens

Burrows on a shootout?

What the hell was that all about?

I guess the rest of our scoring power went to the dressing room early.

Pats should have started this rebuild process about a decade ago!

Dan, if the rumours are true – perhaps Paddock was being a professional and allowing Burroughs a last chance to have "some fun" in a Pats uniform.

Maybe Paddock put Hunt and Burroughs out on the shootout because he knew it would be their last game as Pats. If this trade happens, I'll be sad but I understand why it needs to be done. As a season ticket holder for 6 years I've become acustomed to watching star players from start to finish because they were never traded when they shoud've been. I'm glad I braved the cold to see them in possibly their last game as Pats.

Once Gabrielle gets up to speed I think he and Steel are going to be a force together.

Nice move allowing the two traded guys to participate in Shootout as their last Pats moments.

Doesn't matter if it's spelled Burrows or Burroughs, he's gonzo. Ancient history forgotten tomorrow.
