Lead Up: Pats End Swing with 3-1 Win in Kelowna
The Pats saved their best performance of their B.C. Division road swing for last when they faced the WHL’s top club in Kelowna.  After falling behind 1-0 in the second period, Pavel Padakin and Sam Steel scored shorthanded goals 32 seconds apart to put the Pats ahead 2-1.  Daniel Wapple stood tall the rest of the way, turning away 27 shots through sixty minutes and Braden Christoffer iced the game with a late empty netter for the 3-1 final.

One Step Closer to Boxing Day
Morgan Klimchuk earned an invite to Team Canada’s World Junior Selection Camp starting up December 11th.  The Pats sniper has 20 points (9G, 11A) in 18 games this season and was named the Molson Cup First Star of the Game twice last week leading up to the announcement.

Goalie of the Month
Daniel Wapple’s great November was recognized by the WHL Tuesday when the Saskatoon product was named the Vaughn Goalie of the Month.  Wapple posted an 8-1-0-0 record along with a 2.19 GAA and 0.931 SV% in nine games.  He allowed two goals or less in six of those starts.

Teddy Bear Hat Trick
Looking for a safe bet to score tonight’s Teddy Bear Goal?  Look no further than Pavel Padakin.  The overage import forward scored the Teddy Bear Goal the last two years for the Calgary Hitmen.  Padakin comes into tonight after scoring goals in the Pats previous two games.
