PATS HIRE NEW ATHLETIC THERAPIST
Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats have hired Andrew Kutnikoff as the team’s Athletic Therapist.
“We’re very pleased to hire someone with a lot of experience,” Regina Pats GM and Head Coach John Paddock said. “We’ve heard nothing but great things about him and we think he’s a great fit for our organization and a welcomed addition to our staff in replacing Greg Mayer who served as the Pats Athletic Therapist for 19 years.”
Kutnikoff, 31, joins the Regina Pats after spending the last four seasons with the Swift Current Broncos where he served as their Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager from 2019-2021 before moving over to just Athletic Therapist from 2021-2023. The Prince albert, Sask. product attended the University of Saskatchewan where he received a Bachelor of Science Kin, Exercise and Sport Sciences in 2014 before attending the University of Winnipeg where he earned a Bachelor of Science Kin, Athletic Therapy. From 2016-2018, Kutnikoff did an internship with the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL and later moved onto the Battlefords North Stars for the 2018-19 season where they won the SJHL Championship.
“I am so excited for this opportunity to join a storied franchise like the Regina Pats,” said Kutnikoff. “I can’t wait to get the 2023-2024 season going and start this next chapter of my career, and in the process hopefully do my part to bring a championship back to Regina.”
The Pats organization are excited to welcome Andrew and his family to the organization. The Pats would also like to thank Interim Athletic Therapist Brennan McConaghy for his time and efforts over the final two months of the season. We would like to wish him all the best as he returns to the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League for the 2023 season.

He would have been the kid who I guess replaced Butter.
Good luck and have a great run with the team.
