PATS HOST SPRING CAMP THIS WEEKEND

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats hold their annual spring prospects camp this weekend.  It runs Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29 at the Co-operators Arena.

This year’s camp features a more focused roster with 19 players attending.  Skaters range from the recently drafted 2001-born prospect class to 1998-born prospects.

The camp is the first opportunity for fans to see recently drafted, listed or acquired prospects.  Players attending the 2016 spring camp include 2015 first round pick Dawson Barteaux along with 2016 draft selections Cole Muir, Tristen Robins and Kjell Kjemhus.

Following registration and orientation Friday evening, the prospects take part in on-ice sessions running from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.  Rather than previous years where players were split into two groups, all players will be on the ice for each session.  These sessions are open to the public at the Co-operators Arena.
