PATS SMOKED 6-1 BY HURRICANES

Regina, Sask. — The Regina Pats were thumped 6-1 by the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday night at the Brandt Centre.

The Pats fell to 6-10-0 on the season with the loss, and have now suffered three straight defeats, while the Hurricanes snap their own six-game slide and improve to 6-9-0.

The Regiment’s only goal came from Tanner Howe, who opened the scoring, but Lethbridge would score six unanswered; one in the first, three in the second and two in the third. Connor Bedard was held pointless, and was minus-1. Sixteen-year-old forward Logan Wormald scored his first career WHL goal and added three assists for Lethbridge.

The Pats next game is in Moose Jaw on Nov. 20, before they embark on a four-game road trip to Alberta, from Nov. 23-28.
