PFC FINAL: HILLTOPS 26 THUNDER 25

REGINA — The Saskatoon Hilltops (5-0) scored sixteen points in the fourth quarter and rode out of Mosaic Stadium with a 26-25 PFC victory over the Regina Thunder (3-2) Saturday night.  The win gave Saskatoon back-to-back victories over their provincial rivals.

The Thunder scored first and led throughout the contest, in fact they led 25-10 going into the fourth quarter.

Regina was up 25-17 until they gave up a safety at 9:34 in the 4th. The Hilltops then drove and scored a touchdown to take the one point lead.

Cole Benkic intercepted Jaeden Marwick with less than a minute left to seal the victory for Saskatoon.

Thunder QB Jaeden Marwick threw for 420 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. He also rushed for a major.

The next action for the Thunder is Sunday at the Winnipeg Rifles.  Kickoff is 12:00 pm Saskatchewan time.
