PRIDE IN THE DURANT FAMILY

IRVING, Texas — Last Sunday Dallas Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant kept one eye on his television and one eye on his computer screen.

A hamstring injury kept Durant home, so he had to watch the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants on TV, but it allowed him to watch his brother, Darian, win the CFL’s Grey Cup for the Saskatchewan Roughriders on his computer.

He sent a congratulatory text to his brother, who offered up a challenge after throwing three touchdown passes for the Roughriders in the win against Hamilton.

“Now you’ve got to get one,” Darian wrote, referring to a championship.

“I’m proud of him,” said Justin, who will miss his second straight game with the injury. “He’s been playing up there for a while, and he’s lost two Grey Cups. To see him win one was like me winning one.”
