QUAKERS 5 CAPITALS 3 – REGINA DOWN 2-0

The Saskatoon AGI Insurance Quakers got a pair of goals and an assist from Cody Pettapiece while Terrin Belosowsky scored twice in their 5-3 win over the Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals Sunday at Regina’s Cooperators Centre.
With the win, Saskatoon takes a 2-0 lead in the Best-of-7 PJHL (Junior B) provincial final.
Taylor Mayer, Braydon Delorme and Brayden Cockwill replied for Regina.

The Quakers fired 44 at Capitals goalie Carson Bogdan while Regina managed 28 shots at Saskatoon netminder Brett Lewchuk .

Game three will be played back in Saskatoon on Tuesday.

Following the PJHL Championship Series both the Capitals and Quakers will represent Saskatchewan at the Keystone Cup, which will be held in Regina from April 14-17 at the Co-operators Centre.

Eric Knudsen the head coach of the Regina Capitals has done a amazing job with these kids. Hopefully he keeps climbing the coaching ladder
