One night after a shutout rout of Prince George, the Regina Pats had the tables turned on them. Goalie Patrik Bartosak stopped all 41 shots he faced as his Red Deer Rebels blanked Regina 4-0 in the Brandt Centre on Saturday.

Scott Feser scored the eventual game-winning goal at 10:24 of the first period for the Rebels who led 1-0 and 4-0 by periods.

The Pats outshot Red Deer 41-25 while going 0/8 on the powerplay and 4/5 on the penalty kill. Goalie Dawson MacAuley took the loss making 15 saves. The announced attendance was 3762.

Regina (25-21-5) hosts Saskatoon Friday at 7:00 on Access 7 and 620 CKRM (Press Box Sports Bar Pregame Show at 6:35 pm).

Sad sad sad. After all the begging you and Remple did on the show a couple weeks ago to get fans out to support junior hockey, and the Pats in particular, and this is what we get.

Wtf is going on here. When does this nonsense EVER end around here. Good grief.

Not blaming you or your show but facts are facts. These games are just flat and boring. I missed last nights game, but every game I go to they lay an egg.

Does anyone know what Cameron was trying to do with switching the goalie after every penalty in the 3rd period ?

He did it three times !!! Not sure why. It never saved any time on the clock and if anything it messes with the goalies head going in and out.

I think the pats should just give me season tickets to turn thier season around. Every time i go to a game they look like a top caliber hockey team. When i don't go they seem to to make it smell like agribition under the orange top. At least we will be a playoff team and maybe we will get hot at the right time. There seems to be a huge difference between the good teams in the whl this year and the bad. The pats are right in the middle. I am just happy we will more than likely… Read more »

Cameron switched goalies on the PP because MaCauley can play the puck better by getting it up ice quicker.

Man if this team was a roller coaster. It would be the wickedest ride this side of the Rocky Mountains. The ups and downs and hill climbing. The steep decent to ver tickle accents. Along with the twists and turns. It's truly unbelievable.
We could make the Queen City famous with…
The Regina Patsacoller King Kong Roller Coaster.

If they have to rely on the goalie to move the puck on the powerplay, then they might as well decline the pentaly.

That is a coach that is searching for answers because he can't find anything logical and consistent to help his team. YIKES!

They haven't been able to improve this defense or their penalty kill all season. No team that gives up more than they score ever goes anywhere. Some really questionable talent has been kept because they are bound to be better next year? One of out two imports has done nothing all season. He is called a project. Why don't we use a big Canadian kid as a project. Euros are supposed to be impact players not projects. No team holds onto its below average talent longer than the Pats do. You see where we usually finish. The more things change… Read more »
