RED SOX 15 OKOTOKS 8
On Saturday night the Regina Red Sox banged out 16 hits on route to a 15-8 win over the Okotoks Dawgs at Seaman Stadium.
Just over 3,800 fans enjoyed the high scoring affair. Regina will play their final game of a six game Alberta road trip Sunday against Okotoks.
Regina, now 15-9, is 4-1 on their tour of Alberta.
The Regina Red Sox blew the ballgame wide open with six runs in the sixth inning and four more in the top of the ninth. Regina got highlight home runs from Jonathan Nunnally and Aden Campbell. Nunnally also contributed five RBIs.
Reliever Landon Russo picked up the win, running his season record to 2-1. Russo came on in relief of starter Red Sox Allan Sanchez in the sixth inning.
Tyler Burdett took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs.
