RED SOX GROUND BOMBERS 8-4

Powered by a six run second inning the Regina Red defeated the Brooks Bombers 8-4. The Sox, now 7-6, had 13 hits while the Bombers, 4-10, countered with eight hits.

North Vancouver’s Riley MacDonald was a human highlight reel as he contributed two long home runs, a double and four RBI for the Bombers. Riley Hickerson was three for four with a home run and two RBI.

Regina starter Kyle Wilson pitched seven solid innings for the victory. The junior from Arkansas Tech gave up three runs on six hits. He also had seven strikeouts.

Collin Thomas made his third start for Brooks with the loss his record dropped to 1-1.
