RED SOX TIE SERIES, HOME THURSDAY NIGHT

Outfielder Jordan Schulz led the Regina Red Sox to a 6-2 victory over the Weyburn Beavers.

Schulz had three hits including a home run and a RBI for the Sox who also got multiple hits from Aden Campbell and Broderick Rodocker.

Jordan Scott, the junior from Liberty University earned the win with his two run, six hit performance over his 6.1 inning performance.

Winnipeg native Ryan Johnson started for the Beavers and lasted five innings in the loss.

Carlos Flores and Luis Jimenez provided the highlights for the Beavers. Flores had three hits and went yard in the fourth inning.  Jimenez chipped in with a pair of hits from his leadoff position.

The 375 fans in attendance at Tom Laing Park watched as Regina grabbed a 5-0 lead and then outlasted the Beavers to tie the series at 1-1.

Game three moves to Regina Thursday night, the first pitch happens at 7 pm.
