RED SOX TIE UP WEYBURN SERIES 1-1

The Regina Red Sox outlasted the Weyburn Beavers 6-5 in a dramatic 11 inning ball game. Outfielder Wesley Moss had a single stolen base and then scored on a wild pitch to secure a 6-5 Red Sox win in the top of the 11th on Tuesday night.

Regina got home runs from Jahshua Jones and Erik Crossman as well as a three hit night from Phil Langlois.

Weyburn left fielder Wade Weinburger contributed three hits including two home runs and four RBI for the Beavers. He also scored three of the Weyburn runs.

Red Sox reliever Anthony De La Cruz pitched the final two innings to earn his third playoff win. Chandler Casey took the loss after coming out to pit the top of the 11th inning.
