RED SOX UP 1-0

The Sox got great pitching from Triple Crown Winner Michael Batten Thursday night! Batten pitched 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and struck out 11 Moose Jaw Miller Batters on the way to a 10-2 Regina victory in Game 1 of this WMBL Best-of-3 first round series.

Offensively the Sox were led by Willie Estrada who had 3 RBI on 2 homeruns. Ivan Nunez chipped in with a home run and 2 RBI. Hiebert Romaro pitched two strong innings of relief. Game two of the best of 3 series goes Friday night in Moose Jaw with a possible game 3 played Sunday at 7PM at Currie Field!
