Losing a depth player… Yeah, that sounds fine by me.
I'm looking at our list of Canadians, and I'm baffled as to why the Riders signed four last week… it basically means there's no way to protect them all this week. I don't get it.
Getzlaf, Heenan, LaBatte, Picard, Best, Shologan, Foley, Bagg are all available and they can only protect six. I thought they were in good shape with the free agents but then they signed them…
Because they wernt free agents so they were volunerable anyways.

They do need O-linemen I guess. Lee played pretty good in place of Fulton this year. Don’t know what Madani was bitching about after seeing this list. Edmonton and Winnipeg picks are a little underwhelming, but I guess they didn’t really have talent to begin with.
No DB’s picked, a little surprising, just means free agent DB’s are going to get paid!
Anon #2. How many times does this have to be explained. The 4 they signed last week were not gonna be free agents come Feb 15. They were already under contract for another year. This was simply an extension past that.
Lee is a pylon waiting to happen, just like our former pick Matt O'Donnell!After watching Lee saunter around the Rider sideline during home games this last season, I'm surprised that ANYONE would pick him! I wondered why the Riders would keep a guy who obviously didn't want to be a team guy when not dressing. Just when I was starting to believe that maybe Taman is okay he leaves Shologan unprotected. Oh well, back to Taman bashing.
