REDBLACKS SIGN RAMS’ RILEY WILSON

The CFL’s Ottawa REDBLACKS have signed University of Regina Rams receiver Riley Wilson to a free-agent contract.
The Balfour High school product caught 37 passes in his last season of eligibility with the Rams for 627 yards and 1 touchdown.
He was a dependable target for Hec Crighton Trophy winner Noah Picton during a season that saw the Rams finish in first place in Canada West for the first time since joining the ranks of University football with a record of 6-2.

Good enough for a great winning team but not good enough for jones riders
2017 jones and riders last again.
He only had moderate success.
Another one of Jones' shrewd moves?
I'm from Regina and have never heard of this kid. How good can he be? And if he was so good and Ottawa so smart why didn't they draft him last year?
If you're from Regina and you've never heard of this kid, perhaps you should look at going to a Rams game or two.
training camp fodder
So much negativity. How about just acknowledging good job to a local talent getting an opportunity to further his football career!!
Those of you who say training camp fodder or that he is not very good how about you step out on the field and see if you can get signed by any team. Also if you have not heard of him I agree with the previous poster that you obviously haven't been to a Rams game in the last 4 years.
Riley would not be the first Canadian free agent receiver to make it in the CFL.
Rob Bagg was an undrafted free agent.
This guy is an excellent receiver. Some of the catches he made during the Rams games where amazing.
When do the riders awake from hibernation ?
