REGINA RIOT CROWNED DIVISION CHAMPS

The Regina Riot defeated the Saskatoon Valkyries 34-24 in the last tackle football game played at Historic Mosaic Stadium.

Aimee Kowalski completed 14/24 passes for 162 yards and threw for 1 touchdown connecting with Alex Kowalksi.

Carmen Agar carried the ball 13 times for 111 yards averaging 8.5 yards/carry and 1 touchdown.

Mallory Starkey carried the ball 18 times for 92 yards, averaging 5.1 yards/carry and 1 touchdown.

The Riot defense held the Valkyries off late in the game with an interception by Courtney Tafelmeyer which she ran back 62 yards for a touchdown.

The Regina Riot will face the Calgary Rage in Saskatoon, June 10 at 8:30 p.m. for the WWCFL Championship.
