The defense beat the offense 44-39 in the Riders’ annual mock game Saturday at SMF Field in Saskatoon. Riders coach Chris Jones called it a “poor display”. Of course northern and central Sask love the Riders, the vast majority of Rider fans in Sask aren't from or don't live in Regina.

Our family attended the game. The Q and A at the pre-game gathering was awesome. The Riders management who were there was fantastic as they answered the many questions from the fans. For me, I also had a chance to meet Luc, what a great guy! I was impressed with everyone with the organization. Everyone was fan friendly. Even though Coach Jones was not happy with the game, he was absolutely great with the fans after the game. He took the time to sign everything, took pictures and talked to many fans. Yes was a great experience at fan day for us as first timers. Met Luc and what a great guy also John Murphy, Craig Reynolds and Chris Jones was great with my son.Players were all very friendly only one i didn't get meet was you Rod but some other time.
