Labatte will win the West nominee.

All the others had good years but will be beaten out.

Anon 1 could very well be right. Anxiously awaiting for the complaint department to leave their comments on here.

Riders will be shut out. Although the guy is great, our o-line has not been good enough to warrant Labatte selection….it will be someone off of Calgary line that wins the west nominee and likely league honours…maybe even Jones.

Schmitt over Milo?

Our O-Line has not been good enough?

Kory Sheets can finish with 1800 yards and Darian Durant has been lights out this year.

Our O-Line when healthy is top notch.

In other CFL news: Sean Whyte was fined for comments about officials.

You know officiating is atrocious when a kicker makes comment on it!

The Woz,

You are so negative, a REAL RIDER FAN would never say such things!

Hey don't you know? Woz goes to all the games, that means he's more of a fan than the rest of us are. And entitled to more of an opinion as a result.

Jones will win rookie of the year. Most defininetely could have been the league's best team's nominee for the o lineman of the year. Led the Calgary o line to a 1st place finish, least sacks against, most rushing yards and captained the offence through three quarterbacks who were in and out regularly. The kid is a stud!

At the best, when stacked against Calgary and Toronto and maybe BC now, the Riders are a mediocre team. Outside of Getzlaf, not one of them is a star. And Getzlaf has no chance against Cornish. Not a single Rider will win from here on in. It says a lot. And, there will be no coach of the year from Saskatchewan this year.

For one of the few times I have to admit I agree with Woz 100%. Our Oline has been horrible the 2nd half of the season and no way Labatte has any chance to win.

Darian Durant has been lights out this year says Obama? Wow! I must be watching a different QB than you the last 8 games. He must of been really lights out in the last Calgary game to of racked up so many first downs in the 1st half!

Team Outstanding Players don't put themselves ahead of the team.

Congrads to most the nominees, however for the one that couldn't shut his mouth on game day, you don't get my vote.

Go Darian Durant – you should of been the one!

Go Riders!!!

Above anon: the season is 18 games long not 9 games so not a chance in hell Durant was even a consideration to voters.

Waiting for Woz to come back on and go off on a tangent defending himself. His whole argument that you HAVE to be at every game to be a good fan is a joke. My family has had season tickets for 45 years and I had to move away long ago for work… Too bad that automatically made me a shitty fan. After this week we are all 0-0, I don't care if we win zero league awards. We need to regroup and come out big against BC. Where we are right now I'm glad we don't have a bye…… Read more »

Statistically Durant has been better than any season Lancaster ever had. And his INTs are much lower than Austin and Burris' most successful seasons. Potential for 12 wins out does all of them too. Leads league with 31 TD passes plus we have a running back with 12 TDs.

Not sure how much more a guy can do?

Here are Durant’s numbers that are very telling of the Riders season

21 TD passes to 1 Int over the first 8 games played (missed 1 game in Hamilton)

10 TD passes to 11 Int over the last 8 games

I’d like to hear how Durant deserves the MOP nomination with the last 8 game performance?

He was the second least sacked QB prior to the last Calgary game, after which he is the 3rd least sacked QB.
