RIDERS CUT NEWSOME, ADD ZVER, MAKE 7 OTHER MOVES
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they have signed national offensive lineman Jeremy Zver. Zver (6’5 – 295 lbs.) was selected by the B.C. Lions in the second round (16th overall) of the 2017 CFL Draft after spending four seasons at the University of Regina. The 23-year-old Regina resident started 25 collegiate games at left tackle while with the Rams. He was named a Canada-West All-Star following the 2016 season. Zver attended training camp with the B.C. Lions. He spent the opening week on the Lions injured list.
