BOMBERS ADD HARDRICK, RELEASE ANDERSEN

WINNIPEG, MB – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the club has signed International offensive lineman Jermarcus Hardrick.

Hardrick (6-6, 320, Nebraska, May 30, 1990 in Battesville, MS) joined Saskatchewan in August of 2015, starting eight games for the Riders. Hardrick spent 2014 with the Lions, seeing action in 12 games with ten starts.

The club also announces the release of defensive lineman Zach Anderson. Anderson has spent the past three seasons in Winnipeg.

“Zach put everything on the line every week he stepped on the field,” said Winnipeg Blue Bombers General Manager Kyle Walters. “We sincerely thank him for everything he has done for this organization, both on and off the football field.”

In a year in which it was hard to cheer for the Roughriders, Jermarcus became one of my favourite players to watch because of his energy and enthusiasm both on the field and on the sidelines. Best of luck to him.

Jermarcus Hardrick was known more for his effort at the end of a play than his performance during the play.

Bum bombers can have him
