Yay to Ryan Smith being activated for the next game; we'll see if Alex can be a Suberstar for us.

Let's stay positive heading into this week. It takes one win to get this thing started.

What are you talking about "tsk tsk"?
You have no clue. Back up what you're saying with some real knowledge or insight.
Good grief.

Welcome back Ryan Smith. Welcome Alex Suber. Go get 'em Riders!

I noticed the CFL has no planned Thursday Night Football this week, that's to bad, just when I was getting used to it… I would suggest the Thursday night games have been awesome and I love having that extra night of football. But why tease the CFL followers? Why not have the whole season with Thursday Night Football and, might I add, what about Friday Night Football (a huge success). But even with Friday Night Football, the schedule does not go all year long. Consider this, when was the last time a Monday Night Football game did not appear on… Read more »

Apparently we can't go two messages in a row that are positive. With Ryan Smith on the field it should at the very least be an entertaining game.

With the Dakota Twins in the lineup the defense and special teams will really have to bear down to blow the game.

Totally agree Kel. No rhyme nor reason to the CFL schedule. You never know when a game may be on.

I thought most years it is a friday game all year. But remember it is tsn that has final say not cfl and i think we might have git bumped by the jays one year. But not very often. And you need to stop thursdays in september because the nfl does thursday night games….

Hey Woz, Who signed the contract allowing TSN to scramble the CFL schedule?

17 ??? The question was how many GAMES would Smith last, not minutes.
I'll go with 43 minutes, injured late in the 3rd quarter with undisclosed injury.

Sorry but there were bigger things to consider in that deal than whether we can watch a game on thursday night. Tsn game experience is great they do an excellent job promoting the league and are a good partner. The ratings success the cfl has enjoyed in the last decade is due in part to tsn. Then there is the small matter of the large increase that the cfl got in money in the last contract. Live with it and watch a movie or get off you butt and enjoy the summer on a thursday night.
