RIDERS’ MARSHAY GREEN DISCIPLINED
TORONTO — The Canadian Football League announced today:
Toronto Argonaut James Yurichuk was fined for unnecessary roughness against an opponent in Friday night’s game versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Winnipeg Blue Bomber Stanley Bryant was fined for dangerously hitting an opponent low from behind during the game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.
Saskatchewan Roughrider Marshay Green was fined for an aggressive tourist hit on an opponent in a vulnerable position during Game #51 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
A “Tourist Hit” by definition in the 2015 CFL Rule Book
Unnecessary physical contact, including but not limited to, running into, diving into, cut blocking
or throwing the body on a player who is:
A) out of the play, or
B) should not have reasonably anticipated such contact by an opponent, before or after
the ball is dead;
C) throwing a ball carrier to the ground after the ball is dead.
As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.

What is and "aggressive tourist hit"? I went to cfl.ca to look it up and found the 2013 rule book (might want to pass that one on to get updated). I admittedly never played football and have learned quite a bit about the game over the past number of years. This one's new to me though.

Winnipeg can’t sell their grey cup out, so to aggressively recover money owed to the league to buy the game, they fine one randomly chosen opposing team player to that equals 5 front row tickets.
Every week they have the 3 top players of the week and now, it seems, that they do 3 fines each week too. We should have a poll on who is going to get fined each week. Tourist hit!!!! Sounds like they made that one up just for laughs.

I didn't think Marshay Green hit anybody in that game. Maybe 'tourist hit' means to fly by.
