Easy answer, why keep a high priced guy like Chiles on if you aren't using him when you could spend that money on an upcoming NFL cut that you think will help you more? Big picture it makes sense.

There is far more going on here than making room for someone else. Jon Chiles came off the suspended list just before the Hamilton game. Then a week later is released?? . Maybe Jon Chiles also feels there is a Circus in Riderville.

There was a lot more to this than the Trolls will ever understand because most of them are seriously mentally challenged. They really should stay under their bridges or Rod should force them to reveal themselves. If this was a "normal" situation I'm sure they would have traded him and probably tried. There are numerous teams that need receiver help so a trade would have been easy. If nobody wanted to trade that suggests that there were some other reason(s) that brought this on. the biggest off season acquisition just up and released. Par for this course. Current administration has the same news week after week… Loss, release, release, release.
I cannot wait to win 5 of the remaining games and add a couple big names along the way until next year when we take first place in the league.

Ugg that is another guy signed in the summer and recieved a signing bonus at the time. $146000 in bonus money used up on players no longer with the team. And don't call me a troll because this is a serious issue.
