RIDERS SIGN DEREL WALKER
REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed American free-agent receiver Derel Walker on Thursday.
The six-foot-two, 187-pound Walker had 65 catches for 874 yards and a TD in 16 regular-season games with the Edmonton Elks in 2022.
Walker spent six of his seven CFL campaigns with the Alberta squad, the exception being 2019 when he played for the Toronto Argonauts.
Walker, 31, was the CFL’s top rookie in 2015 (winning a Grey Cup with Edmonton that year) and has registered three 1,000-yard seasons.
A two-time league all-star, Walker has registered 471 catches for 6,653 yards and 33 TDs in 91 career regular-season contests.

Washed QB, washed WR. Why do we think taking ex Elk players is going to help us? Another lost season.
WOW That is a pathetic comment!! How about signing the second league leading QB and a consistent 800-1000+ receiver!!!! Ex Elks has nothing to do with it…
