RIDERS WELCOME BACK SUNSERI

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Wednesday that international quarterback Tino Sunseri has signed with the team. As per club policy, details of the contract were not released.

Sunseri spent the last two seasons with the Riders after originally signing with the team in May, 2013. The University of Pittsburgh product played all 18 games in his rookie season, listed as the third string quarterback, totaling 167 passing yards on 14 completions.

Last season, Sunseri dressed for all 18 regular season games – starting four – completing 73 of 123 attempts for 1,140 yards and six touchdowns.

Sunseri won the 2013 Grey Cup as a member of the Riders.

Suneri should have looked for a fresh start elsewhere; Montreal maybe?

Personnally, I thought they were going to bring back Neolon Greene… Sunseri and Greene seem to like hanging around…

#2 at this point would be Sunseri. The reason he was signed was his familiarity with the system, but realistically how familiar can that be? Hope he steps up his game because it was sadly lacking when he had his opportunity last year.

Last year when Tino was 'on' it was awesome, but when he was 'off' it was horrible. The challenge Mr. Chamblin is to find the 'on' button.

Let's just all cool it and give Tino another chance to help out our team. Welcome back Tino, thank you for being a big enough man to return to our team after it didn't work out for you in the past. Things always happen for a reason and there's a story to be written here. Proud to have you as a Saskatchewan RoughRider again.

Yes he was however he kicked 50% indoors. I don't think he will live up to those #'s this year.

Welcome back Paul and Tino too. These people are here to help the Riders get to the Grey Cup. Why would you dump on them? Grow up.

Tino especially needs our support. It took a big man to say I will try to help out my former teammates. He could have signed in other centers but choose to come back here. Good on him.

It's like you're hiring someone for an important job requiring skills.
Then your #1 choice turned you down.
So you pull the file and decide to go with the guy you didn't want in the first place.

Classic.
Didn't they already give this guy the Trump "You're fired?"

Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but he should be more consistent than Milo given last years performances. Is Paul still the best, time will tell. Go Paul! Go Riders!
