ROOSEVELT TO THE ALOUETTES
3DownNation’s Justin Dunk is reporting receiver Naaman Roosevelt has signed a 1-year contract with the Montreal Alouettes.
The 32-year old Buffalo, NY product spent 5 seasons in the NFL (2010-2014) with the Bills, Browns and Lions before finding his way to Canada with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2015.
The popular Roosevelt spent five seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2015-2019) and was one of the last holdovers from the Taman/Chamblin regime.
The 6’1″, 195 lb pass-catcher appeared in 67 games with the Green & White, amassing 4,134 receiving yards and had two 1,000-yard seasons.
With the Roughriders going younger with their receiver group in 2020, the club went in another direction from Roosevelt in free agency.

It would be nice if the “football old”… Read more »
The Roughriders are going to miss this game breaking player and rue the day they let him get away.. Truly.
