RUSH TOP CALGARY 11-10 ON RECORD-SETTING NIGHT
SASKATOON – Ben McIntosh scored four times and added two assists to lead the Saskatchewan Rush past the Calgary Roughnecks 11-10 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action.
Mark Matthews scored and added six assists for Saskatchewan (14-4), while Jeff Shattler had a pair of goals and an assist. Matthew Dinsdale, Ryan Keenan, Robert Church and Dan Dawson also found the back of the net.
Mathews set an NLL single-season record with 84 assists.
Evan Kirk made 36 saves for the win.
Holden Cattoni had four goals and an assist for Calgary (8-10) and Curtis Dickson had a hat trick and four assists. Dane Dobbie scored and added four assists, while Wesley Berg and Garrett McIntosh added singles.
Christian Del Bianco stopped 32 shots.
The Rush were 1 for 4 on the power play and the Roughnecks went 2 for 7.
