SASK RUSH THANKS PREMIER SCOTT MOE
Saskatoon, SK – Despite a Saskatchewan Rush loss Saturday at SaskTel Centre, the evening was nothing short of spectacular. TD Superheroes Night was a smashing success, with game-worn jerseys, flashing glasses, capes, and comic books being sold to raise funds for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Endless memories were made, as very special young guests from the hospital attended the game with family members and ran onto Co-op Field with Rush players. Another special guest in attendance was Saskatchewan Premier, the Honourable Scott Moe.
“We were honoured to host Premier Scott Moe and Krista Moe, this past Saturday at SaskTel Centre. The Premier and his wife are both incredible people, who we believe exemplify superb leadership. They are both humble, generous, and kind individuals, who have tremendous care for the province. Saskatchewan will be in great hands for years to come!” – Bruce and Cindy Urban
Premier Moe carved out time to take pictures with all of the children in attendance from the hospital. The Premier also joined TD Kid Captain Nicko Karpan, to drop the official game ball in a ceremonial face-off. It was a special moment for all present, that will not be soon forgotten.
As an avid Rush fan, Premier Moe promises to attend plenty more upcoming games! The Rush organization would like to thank the Premier and his wife for their unwavering support.
