SCHEPER JOINS ESKIMOS

The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces Mike Scheper has joined the coaching staff as the offensive line coach.

Scheper enters his 13th season as a coach and his seventh as an offensive line coach. Having served on both sides of the ball, he spent last season as the defensive line coach with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2009, he began his Canadian Football League career as the defensive line coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

His experience on the offensive line includes coaching at St. Francis High School, Glendale Community College and Fresno State. He also served as the cornerbacks coach at College of the Canyons and as the defensive line coach at Portland State.

A native of Pasadena, CA, Scheper played centre on Utah State’s offensive line, graduating in 2002.
