SJHL, MJHL TEAM UP FOR INAUGURAL SHOWCASE

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) are proud to announce the Inaugural MJHL/SJHL Showcase.

The Showcase will feature the top 60 players from both the SJHL and the MJHL. Three all-star teams from each league, featuring players from 17 to 19 years of age, will be selected by the coaches.

The Showcase will be held at the Co-operators Center in Regina on January 15 and 16.

“The MJHL is extremely excited to collaborate with the SJHL to showcase our top player’s skills and abilities in this new event,” said Kim Davis, the Commissioner of the MJHL. “The Showcase will also promote our players to a variety of scouts, from all levels of hockey.”

“We want to thank our SJHL and MJHL Showcase sponsors, Sask-Milk and the Regina Hotel Association,” said Bill Chow, SJHL President. “Their generosity is vital to the success of the event which provides a key opportunity for our players to showcase their talents in front of NHL, CIS and NCAA scouts.
