SJHL/MJHL SHOWCASE FACES OFF MONDAY IN REGINA
The Saskatchewan Jr A Hockey League(SJHL) and the Manitoba Jr A Hockey League(MJHL) are proud to bring back the 2nd Annual MJHL/SJHL Showcase presented by SaskMilk.
The Showcase was kicked off on Sunday, welcoming 60 players from each league. Games will begin Monday at the Co-operators Center in Regina, January 14th and 15th.
A total of 3 teams from each league have been formed and will consist of players from the ages 17 to 19 years of age, all selected by the coaches of their own leagues.
Kim Davis, the Commissioner of the Manitoba Jr A Hockey League stated, “The MJHL is extremely excited about the opportunity to collaborate with the SJHL by showcasing the top players in our league in a new event that gives our players a chance to showcase their skills and abilities for Scouts from all higher levels of hockey. When discussing what the league could do to promote its players even more than it currently does, the two leagues jointly determined that an event such as this would fit the need for player and Scouts.”
President of the Saskatchewan Jr A Hockey League Bill Chow, would like to recognize the SJHL/MJHL Showcase sponsors. With the support from our sponsors, these players are able to showcase their talents in front of NHL, CIS and NCAA scouts.
