STORM 5 CAPITALS 4

The funny things about trends is they change and Sunday afternoon in Pilot Butte one obvious trend in the Prairie Junior Hockey League South Division Final did, the home team won.  Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals and Pilot Butte Storm had not been victorious on home ice throughout this series until the Storm’s 5-4 victory.

It was the Anderson show for both teams as Emery Anderson score 2 goals for the Capitals while Brady Anderson scored a pair for the Storm.  Dillon Frater and Taylor Clark rounded out the Capitals scoring.

In his first start of the series Capitals Goalie Thomas Spence faced 32 shots in the loss while Shane Blomquist face 27 shots for the Storm for the victory.

Pilot Leads the series 3-2 and the teams return to action 7:30pm Tuesday March 24 at the Al Ritchie Arena, Regina SK.
