STORM 6 CAPITALS 2

The Prairie Junior Hockey League South Division Final resumed in Regina Monday night before a packed house featuring the Traveland RV Storm and Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals. A similiar refrain played out with special teams being a factor and the visiting team prevailing. Pilot Butte had two power play goals and a shorthanded marker in a game that featured 20 combined man advantages.

Eric Duran and Cody Braddock scored the only Capitals goals in the first period in the 6-2 loss.  Capitals goalie Carson Bogdan faced 40 shots, while Shane Blomquist faced 26 shots in the Storm victory.

With the series now tied at a game apiece the teams return to action 8:00pm Wednesday March 18 at the Pilot Butte Recreation Centre in Pilot Butte.

I hate both of these teams so won't be going.

The longer the series goes the better the Caps chances. Caps rolling all there lines Storm going with two. Caps taking a page out of the Pats coaching style.

Dear Regina Capitals,

A news release/game summary is pretty much useless if it takes three sentences to get to the final score. Just so you know.
