STORM 7 CAPITALS 2

No one in the Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals organization will ever refer to the Recreation Centre in Pilot Butte as a friendly place for them to play.  Such was the case in round 1 of the Pankewich Neumann Memorial Classic Saturday February 7 as the two premier teams in the South Division met.

Traveland RV Storm pulled away from the visitors in the second period with 4 goals en route to a 7-2 win.  Carson Bogdan faced 50 shots in both his and the Capitals first back to back losses this season. Capitals goal scorers were Dillon Frater and Eric Duran.

Both teams are back in action for round 2 of the Pankewich Neumann Memorial Classic at 2:15pm Sunday February 8 at the Al Ritchie Arena in Regina.
