Calgary held on to pick up its third win in a row. Dougie Hamilton scored with 16 seconds left in the third period to lead the Flames to a 3-2 win over the Ducks at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Calgary held a 2-0 lead before Anaheim scored twice in the third to tie it.

The Toronto Maple Leafs turned a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 shootout win over the Vancouver Canucks. Tyler Bozak had the shootout winner after scoring the tying goal in the third. Also, the Ottawa Senators doubled up Tampa Bay 6-3 to earn back-to-back wins on consecutive nights. And Dallas downed the Edmonton Oilers 5-1.

Forty-year-old Vince Carter scored 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter and the Sacramento Kings held off the Denver Nuggets 106-98. De’Aaron Fox had 18 points and seven assists, Willie Cauley-Stein added 17 points, and Buddy Hield had 14.

The Rams’ first playoff game in 13 years ended in defeat. Matt Ryan threw a T-D strike to Julio Jones with 5:48 remaining as the Atlanta Falcons topped L-A 26-13. And the Tennessee Titans moved on with a 22-21 comeback win over Kansas City. The Titans were down 21-3 before rallying for their first post-season win in 14 years.

The final is set at the Canadian mixed doubles curling trials. Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris defeated Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant in the semifinals, advancing to the gold-medal draw and putting themselves one win away from representing Canada at the Winter Olympics in February. They’ll play Brad Gushue and Val Sweeting in the championship. Gushue and Sweeting defeated Lawes and Morris in the 1-2 Page playoff.
