Madison Bumgarner pitched shutout ball into the eighth inning and the San Francisco Giants combined just enough hitting with a couple of defensive flubs by St. Louis to beat the Cardinals 3-0. San Fran now leads the NLCS 1-0. Bumgarner set a major league post-season record with 26 and two-thirds consecutive scoreless innings on the road. The Giants lefty was in complete command while 20-game winner Adam Wainwright failed to last even five innings for the Cardinals.

Hey Roddy, how about those Canucks feasting on Alberta once again. It hurt so bad, you just could not include the results in the Sunday Summary! Absence speaks louder than words! Whoot whoot!

Wrong!!! Not a Leafs fan, not a fan of any Canadian based team. The team I have cheered for forever(well, since 1968) has recently won the cup.

Doesn't take a genius to know better than to support Canadian based hockey teams. The better run teams have been US based for a long time. Bruins, Pens, Hawks, Wings and Kings far superior to any Canadian team except maybe the Habs, maybe.
