James van Riemsdyk scored the winner at 3:47 of overtime as the Toronto Maple Leafs edged the Winnipeg Jets 4-3. Nazem Kadri tied the game with his 15th of the year in the third period, and Leo Komarov and Daniel Winnik also scored.

Max Pacioretty scored twice in the first period to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-1 victory over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets. That snapped a two-game winless streak for the Habs. Tomas Plekanec added an empty-netter and Carey Price stopped 32 shots for his 33rd win of the season.

Kyle Turris scored one goal and assisted on two more as the Ottawa Senators downed Florida 4-1. Erik Karlsson, Curtis Lazar and Bobby Ryan also scored for Ottawa, and Andrew Hammond made 21 saves for the victory. Aleksander Barkov replied for the Panthers. Roberto Luongo made 35 saves.

Ryan Getzlaf scored the winner as the Anaheim Ducks won their second game in a row, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 2-1. Francois Beauchemin also scored for the Ducks. Teddy Purcell replied for the Oilers, who have lost four of their last five. Edmonton was playing its ninth game in the last 15 days.

Kyle Busch was hospitalized following a scary crash late in the Xfinity Series race on at Daytona International Speedway. Busch’s car shot straight through the grass and slammed into an interior wall. He could not get out of the car and pointed to his right leg. Busch was strapped to a stretcher with his right leg immobilized. He’s been ruled out for the Daytona 500.

Canadian Graham DeLaet of Weyburn, SK is in second place after three rounds at the Northern Trust Open in Los Angeles. The Weyburn, Saskatchewan native shot a 1-under 70 to finish the day two strokes back of leader Retief Goosen heading into Sunday’s final.
