The league-leading Tampa Bay Lightning continue to rack up points. Nikita Kucherov had a goal and four assists while Steven Stamkos and Tyler Johnson each scored twice as the Lightning extended their point streak to 12 games with a 6-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. The Lightning have gone an impressive 11-0-and-1 in their last 12 games for the best run in the NHL this season.

Sabres broadcaster Rick Jeanneret was taken out of the press box on a stretcher during the third period of Buffalo’s game against the Anaheim Ducks. The team did not provide an immediate update on his condition, but Jeanneret was reportedly responsive before getting onto the stretcher. The 76-year-old Jeanneret has done play-by-play for Sabres radio and television broadcasts since 1971.

Mitch Marner is red hot. The star winger scored twice in the third period as the Maple Leafs defeated the New York Rangers 5-3. Marner had 16 assists during a 13-game goal drought that stretched from November 16th to December 13th, but has now scored six times and set up two more in his last four outings.

The Baltimore Ravens have upped their chances of clinching a playoff spot. Lamar Jackson threw for 204 yards and had the longest touchdown pass of his brief career in a 22-10 victory for Baltimore over the Los Angeles Chargers. The Ravens – who have won five of their last six with Jackson as the starter – dominated for most of the night to remain in possession of the last wild-card spot.

Despite another show from Mavericks rookie sensation Luka Doncic, the Golden State Warriors held on for 120-116 win over Dallas. Kevin Durant had 29 points with a key 3-pointer with 15 seconds left, and added 12 rebounds and eight assists in the victory. Doncic made 5 of 11 shots with three 3-pointers in the first half for 14 of his 19 points.
