NBA commissioner Adam Silver called the audio tape that allegedly recorded L-A Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist remarks “disturbing and offensive.” Silver also said Sterling has agreed to not attend the Clippers’ game at Golden State, and that the league will act swiftly to investigate the incident.

Oklahoma City beat Memphis 92-89 in overtime to tie their series at two. Elsewhere in NBA playoff action, the Heat are one win away from sweeping the Bobcats after a 98-85 victory in Charlotte.

The Bruins are the latest NHL team to advance to the second round. Boston beat Detroit 4-2 to take the series in five games. Boston will face Montreal in the Eastern Conference semi. Around the ice, Pittsburgh is up 3-2 over Columbus after a 3-1 win, Colorado took a 3-2 series lead with a 4-3 overtime win against Minnesota, and L-A staved off elimination by shutting out San Jose. The Sharks lead that series 3-2.

The Edmonton Oil Kings are back in the Western Hockey League championship final for the third consecutive year.
Brett Pollock’s second goal of the game 14:22 into the third period was the winner as the Oil Kings defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-3 on Saturday to win the series 4-1.
The Oil Kings now face the Portland Winterhawks yet again for the Ed Chynoweth Cup. Edmonton beat Portland for the Cup in 2012, but were beaten in 2013 by the Winterhawks.
Mads Eller, with a short-handed goal, and Edgars Kulda also scored for Edmonton, which had three goals in the second period.
Cole Sanford replied with two goals for the Tigers while Jacob Doty chipped in with a single.
Tristan Jarry made just 16 saves in net for Edmonton. The loss ruined a spectacular effort by Tigers goaltender Marek Langhamer, who stopped 48-of-52 shots.
Brandon Morrow lasted only two-and-two-third innings, and new call-up Chad Jenkins gave up a grand slam to A-J Pierzynski as the Blue Jays fell 7-6 to the Boston Red Sox. It was Toronto’s fourth straight loss at home, and second in a row to the Red Sox. The Blue Jays send knuckleballer R-A Dickey to the mound later today as they try to salvage a win from the three-game set.

Jon Jones is still the UFC’s light heavyweight champion. Jones defended his title for the seventh straight time with a unanimous decision against Glover Teixeira. Jones is on an 11-bout winning streak, the longest among active UFC fighters.

Former Number-1 Victoria Azarenka says she’ll miss clay-court tournaments in Madrid and Rome next month, putting into question whether she’ll enter the French Open. Azarenka has been dealing with a left foot injury this season and hasn’t played on tour since she competed at Indian Wells, California back on March 7th.
