NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Andy Reid and Matt Nagy vs. Vic Fangio. Nick Sirianni and Kellen Moore vs. Steve Spagnuolo. This SuperBowl is a matchup of some of the brightest — and oldest — minds in the NFL. When the Kansas City Chiefs go for a three-peat in a rematch against the Eagles on Sunday, the game will come down to what Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and teammates do on the field against Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Jalen Carter and the rest of Philadelphia’s talented roster. But it starts with the coaches and the coordinators and their schemes. They have to devise the right game plan and make the best play calls.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Donald Trump is set to make history as the first president to attend the Super Bowl while holding office. His scheduled appearance at Sunday’s game in New Orleans comes amid controversy surrounding the NFL’s removal of “End Racism” slogans from the end zones. Critics suggest the decision follows the Republican president’s actions to cancel federal diversity programs. Trump owned a team in the now-defunct United States Football League. During his first term in the White House, he took a vocal stance against players kneeling during the national anthem as part of a social justice movement. As for the Chiefs-Eagles matchup Sunday, Trump has made comments and social media posts suggesting an affinity for Kansas City.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — It was another wild scene on Media Row this week where more than 150 radio and television stations broadcast their shows and live segments from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. There are 6,414 media members accredited to cover the game and related events leading up to it, the most ever for a SuperBowl. Many of them piled into the convention center for a spectacle that began from one radio station broadcasting live inside a local hotel in Minneapolis in 1992. It has evolved into a mecca of media, content creators, brands, athletes, celebrities and entertainers gathering in one location to hype up the big game, pitch themselves or a product. Radio Row was officially born at the Super Bowl in Los Angeles in 1993, the year after New York’s WFAN started broadcasting onsite, according to longtime league executive Michael Signora. By Saturday, the hundreds of tables and elaborate setups were being broken down and only a few folks remained.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Philadelphia Eagles star defensive end Brandon Graham was cleared to return from a torn triceps suffered 11 weeks ago and will play in the Super Bowl against Kansas City. The 36-year-old Graham was thought to be done for the season after he was injured in a Nov. 24 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Graham was placed on injured reserve two days later, seemingly ending what he had called the final season of his career.

For many of us. It is full circle. Gen X has know President Trump from the late 1980s Mike Tyson fights. To his tabloids going bankrupt while his first wife confronts his mistress/second wife on the ski hill I first heard of him when I watched my first USFL game on a satellite dish. We were told by a former Roughriders Prez to pay attention to this guy Doug Flutie of the NJ Generals. Owned by Donald Trump. Pete Rozelle the former NFL Commish said he will never under any circumstances get into the NFL. Fast forward Obama joked that… Read more »
