TAMAN JOINING REDBLACKS

Pro sports doesn’t take a holiday, even in the off-season.
On New Years Day sources told RodPedersen.com that longtime CFL personnel-type and management man Brendan Taman is joining the Ottawa RedBlacks in a senior management role.
Taman has served as General Manager of both the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders, winning a Grey Cup in Saskatchewan in 2013. He most recently served in a personnel/scouting role with the Montreal Alouettes.
The Saskatoon product originally began his pro football career as a player personnel assistant in 1986. He’s also had prior stints with B.C. and Ottawa.
Meanwhile longtime Saskatchewan Quality Control/Scouting/Analytics man Chad Hudson is leaving Saskatchewan to join the Ottawa RedBlacks as Director of Canadian Scouting & Analytics.
