Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year Ottawa ROUGH RIDERS, Oops, REDBLACKS, there's more of those early presents to come via free agency in Feb. 2014. Little Weston Dressler the phenomenon get it done player is available, he's been a very good boy this past season as always, so renumerate him handsomely. How bout some Sheets ? yours for the take'in courtesy of the Roughriders not signing and letting him run away, literally. You REDBLACKS seem to be off to a good start with your Rider pick'ins and other cast- offs so be good for goodness sake.… Read more »

Sounds like you had turnovers for breakfast again. Just like the stumps.

Our Christmas present came in the form of Glenn starting and the 6 turnovers your Stamps gave us. A bit early for Christmas but a joyous gift never the less.

Enjoy while you can and be joyous, rr won't be buying a team like that again ever with no championships in sight for the long term. Redblacks will win the GC before rr ever do, guaranteed.

What did the expansion fee cost Ottawa?
$7M?
That's a lotta dough to each CFl team…so the 3 Riders picked can consider themselves blue chip stock for the $ the Riders got in return.

Bummer to see any impact player leave.
If Ottawa screws this up again, the league is better off looking at Quebec or the Maritimes to expand.

The battle of poutine lovin Qweeebek would be great for the league.

To the last anonymous, what are you talking about "Buying a Team"? All teams live under the same salary cap. The "rr" will be hoisting the cup, again, before the Redblacks ever do. Where do these people come from?

Note to the REDBLACKS fan. RR would stand for Rough Riders, meaning Ottawa's fabled franchise, correct? Not Roughriders which is PROPERLY one word. By that theory you're likely correct in saying the REDBLACKS (I feel like I'm yelling as I type that) will win before the old Rough Riders will!

Haters keep on hating. We're still the champs of the CFL!

Merry Green & White Christmas everyone!

Taman sounded like he expected this to happen. He quickly said they would play an import there. Case closed. Sheets and Dressler will play here if they play in the CFL. Now here is the real sugar! Taman already has the strongest team in the League AND; most of the good free agents will be looking here before anywhere else. Why wouldn't they want to be going to a championship squad? He will get anything he needs to win the GC again. This is just the beginning of something far bigger.

Stumps fans are just trying to hide their jealousy since our beloved Riders will be tied with them for Grey Cups in two years, at six each. The redblacks will get their first Grey Cup around 2035, which makes it about 50-50 that Ottawa gets a cup before Calgary's next one.
