THE BALD BARON RECOVERS FROM #CORONAVIRUS

According to his broadcast partner John Lynch, former Saskatchewan Roughriders play-by-play man Ron Barnett “The Bald Baron” tested positive for Coronavirus, but has recovered sufficiently.

According to Lynch – who called Rider games magically with Barnett on CKCK Radio – Barnett (pictured left) was hospitalized in Vancouver with the dangerous virus, but has since recovered, been discharged, and returned to work.

The legendary pair called Rider games for most of the 1970’s and early 1980’s on CKCK.
