THUNDER HOSTS EDMONTON IN PFC SEMIFINAL SUNDAY

On Sunday October 20 at 1pm at Leibel Field in Regina (Douglas Park), the Regina Thunder will host the Edmonton Huskies (6-2) in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) Semi Final. While both teams finished with a 6-2 record, the Thunder placed 2nd after winning the only head to head game this season on Sept 22 by a score of 24-21 after a last minute field goal by Thunder kicker Eric Maximuik.
 
Tickets are available at the gate or at reginthunder.ca Adults $20, Students/Seniors $15, Youth $5, Kids 5 and under free. Game is available to watch on Access Communications Channel 7/70, on the Access Communications facebook page or by Pay per View at CJFLTV.com
 
Regina Thunder finished their 20th Anniversary 2019 regular season at 6-2. The final game of the season was never played as the Winnipeg Rifles were unable to travel to Regina due to road conditions in Manitoba.  
 
The Saskatoon Hilltops finished 8-0 and will face the 4th place Edmonton Wildcats (2-6) this Sunday in the other PFC Semi Final. 
 
The PFC Final will take place on Sunday October 27. The winner will advance and play the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) champion on November 3 in Ontario in the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) Semi Final. The Canadian Bowl (CJFL Final) will take place in BC with the BC Football Conference (BCFC) Champion facing the winner of the CJFL Semi Final on Saturday November 16, 2019.
