Thursday RP Show Rundown

Olympics & football were the big topics on Thursday’s Episode #1308 of the RP Show! Here’s the rundown:

• The Sports Doctor Dave Petrishen joined the show for The Warmup with Moose on vacation. We discussed the Olympics boxing/gender outrage, previewed Thursday’s BC/Winnipeg CFL game (Lions favoured by 5.5-points at Covers.com) and Thursday night’s NFL Hall of Fame Game featuring the Bears & Texans in Canton, OH.
• The daily poll question was: How much of the Hall of Fame Game will you watch – All, Some Or None. At press time over 70% said “None”.
• Winnipeg Sports Talk’s Hustler Paterson joined the show to preview the Lions/Bombers clash plus some Olympics talk.
• In Hour 2 we featured our Week 9 CFL Picks (Rod leads Darren 19-14 on the season), and then were joined by Edmonton Oilers radio voice Cam Moon to recap the season, look ahead, and do a deep dive on the play of goalie Stuart Skinner.
