- RP and Moose Dupont got things going with The Warmup covering these Quick Six show topics: 1) NHL leftovers including home teams’ revenge!, 2) The Blue Jays fall 8-1 at Houston, losing their first series since their opener at St. Louis, 3) NBA Playoffs, 4) NFL Canada has launched its Draft Challenge (predict the first 15 picks to win!), 5) Thursday night’s NHL Playoff slate, and 6) Lloydminster is getting a new multi-purpose event facility. Will the WHL follow?
- Olympic Gold Medallist and multi-Brier winner Ben Hebert of Team Botcher joined us at Ace Casino to talk about his rink’s showing at last week’s Grand Slam Of Curling event in Toronto, and preview next week’s GSOC Champion’s Cup in Regina! Benny also talked about his Regina roots, gave an update on his good friend Bo Levi Mitchell’s next CFL stop in Hamilton, and discussed the Stanley Cup Playoffs and Flames. Hebert said he’s a big fan of Flames coach Darryl Sutter as he’s always supported his curling career and charity events.
- Longtime Calgary sportscaster and Voice of the Stampeders Mark Stephen was next up at Ace Casino, discussing the Flames parting ways with GM Brad Treliving and if it was the right move? Mark recapped Tuesday evening’s Stampeders Fan Forum, and previewed the NFL Draft where seven Canadians have declared.
- The daily Key Auto Group poll question was: How do you feel about Michael Bunting’s 3-game suspension – Too Harsh, Too Light or Just Right? At press time, Just Right was leading.
- Wednesday’s Rockstar of the Day was betting expert Andy McNeil. Thursday’s was Ben Hebert!
