TOP 10 RODPEDERSEN.COM PHOTOS OF 2015

It’s that time of year again!  Please vote for your favourite Top 10 photo which appeared on this blog in 2015.  You can register your vote on the left side of the page.  Thanks!  And as always, thanks for reading…

10.  An on-ice proposal at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ as part of the inaugural Riderville Tour to Arizona and the Coyotes-Ducks game …

9.  Old Meets New.  A shot of construction of New Mosaic Stadium during a Rider game this summer at Old Mosaic Stadium …

8.  Hail.  A massive hail storm hammers Mosaic Stadium 45 minutes before the Riders’ June 19 preseason game against the Calgary Stampeders …

7. Ronnie Lott.  At the U of S Huskies’ annual Dog’s Breakfast, I had the honour of sharing a BIG laugh with 49ers great Ronnie Lott who was the guest speaker.  Ronnie was voted the 11th-best player in NFL history.  To this he quipped, “At least I was part of the starting team!” …

6.  Bradenton, FL.  A great aerial shot of a Roughriders’ minicamp workout at the IMG Academy.  Thanks to the Riders’ Chad Hudson for taking the pic …

5.  Howler.  The Arizona Coyotes mascot jumped on my back for a shot at the end of Rider Pride Night at the Coyotes game in March …

4.  The Legend.  Roughrider and CFL icon George Reed watches Rider practice unknowingly in front of the banner which honours his Hall of Fame exploits …

3.  BC Lions.  Here’s a full-page ad from the Vancouver Province promoting an upcoming Lions home game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  No wonder their attendance was down this year …

2.  Luc Mullinder.  Obviously this CKRM football analyst got very hungry in the SportsCage one day when he cracked open a box of Co-op’s Cornish Flakes …

1.  Harper To The Dogs.  Then-Prime Minister Stephen Harper delivered a campaign speech at the Wood Farm between Regina and Moose Jaw in August.  I don’t know what’s more priceless:  the dog or the reaction of the dignitaries in the front row!

I'm voting for Rod's new man crush, Ronnie Lott. Somewhere Eddie Johnson is heartbroken.

What does this comment even mean?

Is it positive or negative?

Certainly the work of somebody who lacks the intellectual ability to make intelligent, proper use of the english language.

Enjoy your sorry pathetic life wherever you are.

How about the unveiling of the scoreclock? Finally the Pat's get a scoreclock and you have no photos? Disappointing to say the least, I hope the Pats notice.

Nobody, NOBODY in the media has done more for the Regina Pats than Rod Pedersen. Thanks to the Parkers, he's gone. Looks like he's having the last laugh.

ZERO Regina Pats or anything hockey related….. hence why I never come to this site anymore. All Riders 12 months a year. Even when they are HORRIBLE we get Rider news stuffed down our throats. I could care less of Durant had a said order of fries with his hamburger. Tell me about Graham DeLaet, NHL, WHL, baseball…… anything that is not "Canada's team". It used to be my place to go after a Pats game or in the mornings to get the pre-game right up. Now nothing. Copy and paste articles from the Canadian Press for hockey related items.… Read more »

Lots of other options for "hockey talk". Keep up the great work on this fine blog Mr. P. All the best in 2016!

For Pat fanatics and WHL followers – Phil the Thrill's site is de place to go.

If you need Pats info or other sports info, you may want to check out Phil or Scruffy's blog. Both are very good complements to what RP provides daily.

As for the Pats-hater, there is more than enough Pats material on here so if you don't like it, go tell someone who cares.
