It’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for the Good, the Great & the Ugly!

First the good: I was real happy to see the Maple Leafs get off the schneid and win Game 2 at Boston Monday night, by a 3-2 score.

Auston Matthews scored the winner midway through the third period, and that was without star winger William Nylander for a second straight game, due to a mystery illness.

I want the Leafs to win the series – and even the Stanley Cup – but honestly I’m not sure why!

Maybe I’m just sick of the whining.

Next the great: Hey – Saskatoon meeting Moose Jaw in the WHL’s Eastern Conference Final isn’t just great. It’s like Tony The Tiger from Frosted Flakes says …

It’s “Grrrrrrrrrrreat!”

People think that because we’re not in the Dub anymore we don’t follow the league, but that couldn’t be further from the case. I’ve been a fan of the WHL since my pre-teen years.

We had a good discussion with Rich Sutter on the RP Show about the series yesterday and it’s been a hot topic in the press box here in Sunrise, FL.

And finally, the Ugly: This is just an “Old Man Yells At Clouds” situation, but I’ll be real glad when the NFL Draft is over after this weekend.

I’ve done my best to block out the hype but in America, that’s next-to-impossible.

Why block it out?? Because every Tom, Dick & Harry plus every Joe and his dog have an opinion on how Round 1 will play out but at this stage of the game, I just don’t care what anyone thinks! At this point, it’s all just speculation. (aka BS).

Come this weekend, the chips will fall and we’ll sort it out afterwards.

Until then, it’s just noise.
